About

The SAWA Shop is home to the perfect convertible bag. Inspired by travel and created with love, our travel accessories are designed to meet your needs, wherever the road may take you. SAWA is a high-end leather goods and accessories brand designed by Indy-native Ashlee Fehsenfeld Hardy in collaboration with Kenyan artisans and John Dillow. The incredibly gifted and beautiful Maasai women, pictured below, are the talent behind The SAWA Shop. They hand bead each and every strap and tassel! It is incredible to see these amazing artisans at work.

Our handbags, yoga mat straps, leather pouches, men's wallet, beaded bracelets, leather sandals, key-chains and interchangeable extra leather straps are all hand crafted in Kenya with the primary materials sourced from Eastern Africa. 5% of Sawa’s sales are donated to the Mara Elephant Project that protects elephants to conserve the greater Mara ecosystem.
